Happy Birthday, Oon Feng !!!!!!!

Happy Birthday, Oon Feng !!!!
Sweet sixteen d....
after the many years
We're still the best of friends

At Camerons...
At so many camps...
Remember at Bulit Merah
where we sat the sky lift thingy together
I was screaming at the top of my voice
There also we paddled the boat thingy in the Bukit Merah Lake
At Frasers, we rode the two-people bicycle.....(can't remember what it's called)
We almost rode of the cliff, remember the mud that splashed on us
I loved the speed
hehehe.. I can still feel the breeze now

I really thank God for a wonderful friend
who is there especially when I feel down
or to keep up with my non-sensical nonsense
The 'Mariah Carey' notes...
The vainness...
The crazy stuff... I'm always wanting to do

For being an excellent encouragement when I know I failed God
Hand in hand,

We shared our problems,

shared our dreams,

secrets too....

remember at Bethel House of Prayer,

your home,

and St. Nicholas

The laugther, the joy...
Though you're younger,
yet you were like the big brother.....

May God always bless you...

as you are a blessing to others..

That the world will see Jesus in your life

And come to know Him through your life as a powerful testimony

Thanks so much Oon Feng !!!!

And once again

HAPPY BIRTHDAY

Of Mirrors and Toilets......

Toilets nowadays...
no more the normal "jamban"

like this one,
full of mirrors,
every side, except the ceiling and the flooor
( Thank God, or else it would be exposing oneslf...through reflections )

But, yet it's so beautiful
reflections, after reflections, after reflections

specially designed....
for vain people like me...
hehehe

But, when we look at ourselves..
in the mirror...
do we say...
I'm so FAT !!!!!
or
I'm so UGLY ????

Or do we say
I am beautiful
Because I am God's creation
God made us in His likeness

Khai Ray

This is my cousin, Khai Ray..
Joanne's younger brother
The above photo was taken when he was really young...'
Cute, Right ???

This was taken just yesterday at a family gathering
My aunt and her family had come back all the way from England
Khai Ray was moody when he arrived..
Then, he began to cry
( usually cries when there are a lot of people around )

Then, he began to warm up....

And walk around

Khai Ray is a really active baby .....like a robot... walks round and round all the tables,

falls down, gets up again, walks then runs and the whole process repeates itself.

He would knock into things and Joanne and I took turns to look after him (more like chase after)

He would occasionally pause to look at his surroundings
as seen here
What's he staring at ????
His reflection ???

Then, he looks at me holding the cameraphone

The guy in blue behind is me..

not taking my own photo... I'm not that vain

but taking Khai Ray's photo

When I tried to take a near shot,
He tries to grab my phone
And he GRABS it.... literally
then he looks at it,
shakes it,
presses some buttons
He actually managed to on my bluetooth by randomly pressing buttons
Smart genius ???

Oops, updated this photo twice...

So, Khai Ray's my favorite baby.. so active yet so adorable...

Got no checkbooks...

Got no mansion, got no yacht
Still I'm happy with what I've got
Got no checkbooks, got no banks
Still I'd like to express my thanks
Got no butler, got no maid
Still I think I've been overpaid
Got no silver, got no gold
What I got can't be bought or sold
Got no heirlooms for my kin
Made no will but when I cash in
I got the sun in the morning and the moon at night
And with the sun in the morning
And the moon in the evening
I'm all right
( This is taken from Irving Berlin's song... "I got the sun in the morning" )
Well, she forgot something.....
Got one heart, Got one soul
Still I know I'm really bold
I got JESUS in the morning
I got JESUS in the evening
And with JESUS in the morning
And JESUS in the night
I'm all right !!!!!!
Remember,
Don't be emo, Don't be sad, Don't worry too,
Cos JESUS will never leave you, nor forsake you.

Donate, Please.... Pretty please with sugar on top....

Why am I smiling so happily ??? actually, I dunno too.... Well, it's most probably because I just got RM 50 note by a very generous man, at the coffee shops or dim sum restaurants along Gurney Drive.. Thank God for His favour. I managed to collect almost a full tin with loads of one ringgit too by 10.45.... and that's just 3 hours collecting. I actually enjoy flag day ( I get to walk all over the place.... ) That's because I love walking. This year, I joined Paalan ( my classmate of 6 years and schoolmate of 11 years ) and Kenneth ( my HSL ) to collect the money. We started off at Pulau Tikus Market then went to Gurney Drive. Kenneth decided to go somewhere else. Paalan and I collected loads along Gurney Drive and we had lots of fun too. Laughing all the way... My last year d......Sighs

It's so funny la

Just the other day at the Tapah resthouse, something really funny happened to me..... Well, I followed Uncle Choo in his car to the Hot Springs. So, I wanted to eat something... and I saw "Daily Fresh" , something new at the r&r ( to me ). So, I saw something that looks like chocolate ice-cream... looks yummy....

then ordered it...reached into my pocket.....and then......... I realised MY MONEY IS NOT HERE !!!! It was in the car in the booth...Uncle Choo & the rest were at Dunkin Donuts... ( which is really far-on the other side of the resthouse ). HOW ??????? I ask if the order could be cancelled... He said they had already started to make it. I told the guy to wait for a while.......

I ran like nobody's business to Dunkin and told Uncle Choo....... He lend me some money.... And I ran all the way back.... I thought the guy would come and look for me.....but he didn't ( relief ! )
Then I went back... paid ( They actually froze the thing... not throw it away ). I was breathing so heavily...... at least I now had ice-cream....

I laughed to myself as I enjoyed the ice-cream... funny things do happen.... when you're away from home and when you're least expecting it.......

Gender Equality

Just recently, I joined the HSBC Public Speaking Competition... Well, it's my dream to go to London for the international level but I didn't make it to the national finals... at least I got in the semi-finals... but that's not the point. The point is I spoke on an interesting topic "Gender Equality".... did some research...... The following below are some quotes on the topic above
“I do not wish [women] to have power over men; but over themselves,” by Mary Wollstonecraft.
“You don't have to be anti-man to be pro-woman,” by Jane Galvin Lewis.
“We have to free half of the human race, the women, so that they can help to free the other half,” by Emmeline Pankhurst.
“The test for whether or not you can hold a job should not be the arrangement of your chromosomes,” by Bella Abzug.
“When women thrive, all of society benefits, and succeeding generations are given a better start in life,” by Kofi Annan.
“The education and empowerment of women throughout the world cannot fail to result in a more caring, tolerant, just and peaceful life for all,” by Aung San Suu Kyi (1945 - ), Daw Burmese-Myanmarese dissident and politician; Leader of National League for Democracy, Nobel Peace Prize laureate
“Women have been taught that, for us, the earth is flat, and that if we venture out, we will fall off the edge,” by Unknown Author.
“The emotional, sexual, and psychological stereotyping of females begins when the doctor says, "It's a girl,” by Shirley Chisholm.
“Men are taught to apologize for their weaknesses, women for their strengths,” by Lois Wyse.
Well, the second paragraph of my speech went like that

Some of you are now wondering what am I, one of the male species, doing here in trying to promote gender equality. Let me explain, last week on the 8th of March, our world celebrated the International Women’s Day. “This year’s theme was ‘Women and men united to end violence against women and girls’. Well, here I am uniting hand in hand with the women to promote gender equality. I believe that women play an equally important role in the regeneration and renewal of our world.
So, I do promote gender equality...
but when it comes to public speaking and debates...
I believe that men are better !!!
