The Bible and Maths

I love maths & add maths but most of all equations !!!!! Well the bible uses mathematical concepts too.....like this one ( The Widow's Offering )..... I will blog on more of these later.....

( Luke 21:1-4 )
1 Jesus looked around and saw rich people dropping their gifts in the Temple treasury,
2 and he also saw a very poor widow dropping in two little copper coins.
3 He said, “I tell you that this poor widow put in more than all the others.
4 For the others offered their gifts from what they had to spare of their riches; but she, poor as she is, gave all she had to live on.

What mathematical concept is used here ???

-Thinking-

-still thinking???-

-need more time ????-

Well, the answer is FRACTIONS or PERCENTAGES
Explanation :

The rich people gave *estimated* 1/100 = 1%
The widow gave 2/2 = 100%

Lesson to learn :
It does not matter how much you give or even how talented you are, All that matters is whether you give God your all !!! Don't give God what you have to spare, Give your best, just like Abel !

Make this verse your commitment to God
(2 Samuel 24:24) ......... I will not sacrifice to the LORD my God burnt offerings that cost me nothing.........
